In 2020, I set a personal goal to publish one application per year - check them out below!

Cosmic Trek, 2020

Over 5,000 downloads on the Google Play Store and 2,000 on the Apple App Store.

Having spent around 3-4 years leading up to 2020 learning the Flutter framework, I was hooked. At the time, I had built a few apps for fun, but never published to the App store. Wanting to learn how to publish apps, Cosmic Trek was built.

CommunityColors.io, 2021

Deployed an ERC-721 Smart Contract on the Ethereum network that allows you to mint an NFT of a color of your choice.

In 2021, NFTs were dominating the airwaves. As someone who followed the space, but never knew how they worked, I decided to learn how they worked from a technical perspective. This led me to learning Solidity and the Hardhat framework to write and deploy smart contracts that let you mint NFTs.

After deploying the contract, I wanted to learn more about how NFT projects approach marketing. This was a valuable experience - my main takeaway was that organic growth in the NFT space (especially in 2021) is incredibly difficult - mainly a function of time and persistence in the space. Many successful projects I followed relied on bots, and inorganic marketing methods to attract audiences and speed things up; I didn't want to participate in that scene, and instead, focused on creating interesting content on Twitter. Eventually, I came to the conclusion that the time commitment to maintain the project was too high and stopped maintaining the Twitter page.

Sudoku Puzzle Palace, 2023

A sudoku app that prioritizes simplicity and privacy. The app features 4 difficulty levels, accessible at any time, no personal data collection of any kind,  a clean, minimalistic design that focuses on the game and takes up significantly less space than other popular apps (by a factor of about 10x).
